Authorities: Middlesex Man, 59, Arrested For Setting 3 Fires

A man from Middlesex was arrested on Monday in connection with three fires set last week, authorities said.

Christopher Ferraro, 59, of Middlesex has been charged with three counts of arson, one for each of the fires set on June 2, Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Middlesex Police Chief Matthew P. Geist of the Middlesex Police Department said in a statement.

At investigation determined that between 10:15 p.m. and 11:14 p.m., last Tuesday, Ferraro set three fires in the area of Lincoln Boulevard and Union Avenue, Kuberiet and Geist said.

Ferraro was additionally charged with causing or risking widespread injury or damage, they said.

Assisting the prosecutor's office and police department in the investigation were the Middlesex Borough Fire Department and the Middlesex County Fire Marshal's Office.

The investigation is active and continuing.
